Christmas Dinner

Our annual Christmas Dinner is a day when we come together with our friends experiencing homelessness to celebrate another year of being in community together.

We’re excited to announce that our 2025 Christmas Dinner will be on Sunday, December 7, from 3-5pm, at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, and we invite you to join us!

We have had another incredible year of sharing life with our friends experiencing homelessness, and it’s time to celebrate the Christmas season together. It’s a great way to kick off the Advent season with our friends living on the margins.

As we’ve done almost every December since 2001, we will welcome all to an outdoor feast with all the fixings of a homestyle Christmas dinner - a delicious meal, holiday decorations, caroling, and plenty of Christmas cheer. The best part is sitting side-by-side and sharing the meal with our unhoused neighbors, building kinship together around the table.

To see photos from last year’s event, go to our Christmas Dinner 2024 photo album on our Facebook page and check them out.

Sign-ups are now closed, except for our Teardown team if anyone wants to jump in and help out from 4:30-6:30pm.

If you’re interested in participating, but can’t help with Teardown, click here to email us.

We hope you will be part of this fun and festive event!

Volunteer Areas still available:

Teardown - help load tables and supplies on the truck at the end of the event, and then unload at Lazarus’ storage space
