Job Training

For the last nine years, we have held job readiness classes and workshops using the Jobs for Life curriculum to equip men and women living on the margins to pursue their vocational goals.

Our Jobs for Life classes and workshops help students not only gain confidence and often times employment, but also become part of a community as volunteers come alongside them on their vocational journey. Students identify job skills and interests, work on their resumes, prepare for job interviews, and meet employment partners from the community. It is a beautiful blend of practical help in the context of relationship, and lives are impacted by the friendships built in this program.

Unfortunately, we currently have had to pause this program, but we are thankful that our partners have similar job training resources available for our friends experiencing homelessness.
