Job Training

For ten years, we held job readiness classes and workshops using the Jobs for Life curriculum to equip men and women living on the margins to pursue their vocational goals.

Our Jobs for Life classes and workshops helped students not only gain confidence and often times employment, but also become part of a community as volunteers came alongside them on their vocational journey. Students identified job skills and interests, worked on their resumes, prepared for job interviews, and met employment partners from the community. It was a beautiful blend of practical help in the context of relationship, and lives were deeply impacted by the friendships built in this program.

Unfortunately, we currently have had to pause this program, as our partner organizations developed an in-house training program. We are thankful we could fill this role for a decade, and are grateful that our partners now have similar job training resources available for our friends living on the margins.
